What is coaching?

Coaching is a powerful partnership between a coach and an individual designed to forward and enhance the individual’s lifelong process of human learning, effectiveness, and fulfillment.

My approach

The coaching approach has many applications – well-known applications include Life
and Career coaching but it has also been demonstrated to help individuals use their
existing strengths and resilience to develop more positive mental health & wellbeing.


Some Climb Coaching is a coaching firm established by Michael Fitzgerald in 2022
to provide a range of coaching services  Life, Career and Mental Health & Wellbeing.


I see Coaching as being a partnership between me as coach and you as coachee to work together to empower you to optimise your future health and wellbeing. In working with clients I am always interested and invested in the human being with whom I am having a coaching conversation and compassionately holding them accountable to their needs and their self-empowerment.


Coaching is about empowering the client and that in the coaching mindset I have
every confidence that yoou have the resources within to identify what positive
change you wish to make – coaching is simply us working collaboratively towards
enabling you to tap into those resources and strengths and facilitate positive change.
